Problems with the coupling between the reactor reducer and the stirrer blade

For the reaction kettle purchased by our unit, the distance between the upper and lower ends of the coupling that connects the reducer to the stirrer is 15 mm. I would like to ask if people use bolts to press these two ends together?
It is generally a rigid connection, and it must be tightened tightly!
The agitator in a reaction vessel usually operates at a very low speed, and thus needs to be tightened.
The bolts must be strong to prevent them from breaking
