For condensing compressors, when should the inlet and outlet valves be opened? Should the surge valves be fully opened during the turbine warm-up phase? What considerations should be given to these inlet and outlet valves of such compressors during startup?
Anti-surge is a protective system that remains fully open, at the inlet side. Explain clearly
Do the inlet and outlet valves need to be fully open before starting? For the reforming cycle hydrogen compressor, does it need to be fully turned on during warm-up? Should we wait until normal operation is restored before activating the exit?
Heat the pipe until the steam pressure and temperature inside it reach the required levels; then open the quick-close valve. Once the P and T values in the pipe between the quick-close valve and the high-pressure control valve also reach the specified levels, open the high-pressure control valve. It is at this point that the turbine begins to increase its speed from the cranking speed to its operating speed
During testing, the surge valve is kept fully open, and a surge test is conducted; the surge valve is then gradually closed to determine the opening degree required for normal operation, so as to prevent the valve’s opening degree from going beyond the optimal range during actual operation
