This acceptance meeting was led by Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd., with the participation of units such as Sinopec’s Materials and Equipment Department, Sinopec’s Chemicals Business Unit, Sinopec Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., Shengli Gear Group, and Shanghai Zhongshen Technology Co., Ltd. The SV40-M polyolefin compressor developed by Shengyu Group’s Gear Company for the \"500,000 tons/year polypropylene plant cycle gas compressor\" project in Zhenhai meets all the technical requirements specified in the contract. The unit vibration is less than 10 microns, and the bearing temperature rise is less than 15°C; these parameters are at the advanced level of similar foreign products. For the first time, this unit uses a dry gas seal body that is transported together with the polyolefin compressor body. This measure can reduce the amount of assembly and disassembly work that users have to carry out on site, shorten the time required for device debugging, enabling users to enter the product production phase more quickly, seize market resources, and increase their market share. The successful development of the cycle gas compressor for a 500,000 tons/year polypropylene plant marks a milestone in which Shengyu Gear Co., Ltd. has managed to apply domestically produced cycle gas compressors on a scale suitable for 500,000 tons/year polypropylene plants – making them the compressors used in the world’s largest copolymerized polypropylene plants. The operating performance indicators of this compressor are at the international advanced level; it not only increases the domestic production rate in China’s high-performance resin industry chain but also fills a gap in the domestic market, bringing significant economic and social benefits.
