The SV40-M polyolefin compressor developed by Shengyu Group’s Gear Company for the \"500,000 tons/year polypropylene plant cycle gas compressor\" project in Zhenhai meets all the technical requirements specified in the contract. The unit vibration is less than 10 microns, and the bearing temperature rise is less than 15°C; these parameters are at the advanced level of similar foreign products. For the first time, this unit uses a dry gas seal body that is transported together with the polyolefin compressor body. This measure can reduce the amount of assembly and disassembly work that users have to carry out on site, shorten the time required for device debugging, enabling users to enter the product production phase more quickly, seize market resources, and increase their market share. The successful development of the cycle gas compressor for a 500,000 tons/year polypropylene plant marks Shengyu Gear Co., Ltd.’s success in applying domestically produced cycle gas compressors to plants of this scale, making them the compressors used in the world’s largest copolymerized polypropylene plant. The operational performance of this compressor meets international advanced standards; it not only increases the proportion of domestically produced components in China’s high-performance resin industry chain but also fills a gap in the domestic market, bringing significant economic and social benefits.
