Styrene is an important basic raw material in the petrochemical industry, widely used in the production of plastics, synthetic rubbers, and resins. In the styrene production process, the exhaust gas compression unit serves as a key piece of equipment, and the ability to control its manufacturing technology independently is an important factor affecting the development of the petrochemical industry. In 2005, Unit 711 successfully completed the development of the first set of domestically produced styrene exhaust compressors. To date, it has enabled the complete domestic substitution of styrene production units with a capacity of over 400,000 tons in China. By employing advanced energy-saving technologies, these compressors help to minimize energy consumption and support the sustainable development of the petrochemical industry. This partnership is a milestone for 711 Institute in further expanding its presence in international markets, with the goal of providing advanced and efficient process gas solutions for the global petrochemical industry.
