Design pressure: 0.1; cylinder length: 6000 mm; design temperature: 100; material: TA2; corrosion allowance: 1 mm; outer diameter: 2800 mm; thickness: 4 mm. The cylinder is to be installed in a horizontal position. Is it necessary to use reinforcement rings for such a cylinder? If so, what size should they be, and how should they be arranged? The internal pressure for SW6 has been calculated, and it turns out that no reinforcement rings are needed.
It can only be known after calculation; how can it be uncertain?

It’s just the SW6 model; the pressure inside the cylinder won’t become unstable. But I want to ask, for a previous device, why were so many reinforcement rings needed – what was their purpose?
Use the SW6 horizontal vessel to verify the lower cylinder, head, pipe opening reinforcement, and saddle. It is estimated that this saddle design will not pass the calculations; it is necessary to add reinforcement rings or increase the wall thickness of the cylinder. The issue of external pressure instability that may arise from material evacuation also needs to be considered.
