Our plant has a 20-ton circulating fluidized bed boiler, and the flue gas temperature has risen by 29 degrees recently. After inspection, it was found that ash had accumulated in the rear flue ducts. I would like to ask how much the flue gas temperature drops respectively after passing through the economizer and air preheater
Ask the boiler supplier for a thermal calculation summary sheet!
It is all specified in the manufacturer’s boiler operation manual.
Ash accumulation affects heat transfer, which certainly raises the flue gas temperature and reduces the boiler’s efficiency. It is recommended to install soot blowers
