Are there any pressure vessels in coal chemical plants whose operating pressure exceeds 100 MPa? It must be the gasification furnace that has the highest operating pressure!
You can take a look at China’s pressure vessel standards – they are quite outdated

Coal chemical processing equipment does not operate at such high pressures at all.
The so-called coal chemical processing equipment refers to the devices located at the raw material input stage; these devices are not subject to very high pressures. The equipment used in the gasification and purification processes is no longer classified as raw material or energy input equipment, and the subsequent devices can handle various types of energy sources. There are ultra-high pressure devices among these, but such extremely high pressures are usually not encountered; what you might be seeing is incorrect. The pressure on the coal-fired equipment is currently also below 10 MPa; among the future equipment, it will be around 30 MPa at most. :L
Currently, gasifiers with a coal processing capacity of over 1,000 tons per day are generally fluidized bed types, and an operating pressure of 4 MPa is considered high. Since the gasification furnace needs to be enlarged, it is impossible to achieve ultra-high pressure at the same time. The subsequent cooling and washing processes all involve reducing temperature and pressure. The use of syngas is essentially the same as that in the later stages of petrochemical processing, and pressures may exceed 100 MPa. For example, the outlet pressure of the ultra-high pressure compressor in a high-pressure polyethylene plant can reach 300 MPa, but the diameter of such equipment is very small.
