Dear brothers and sisters, does anyone know what the process or procedure is for pressure vessels used in China that are designed and manufactured in accordance with ASME standards? I’m asking for help from everyone
I do know what ASME is, but I don’t understand your question – what’s the process and how is it carried out?
It shall be designed and manufactured in accordance with ASME standards, but must also meet the requirements of the Pressure Vessel Code; a compliance statement shall be submitted to the **Quality Supervision Bureau, and inspections shall be carried out in accordance with both ASME standards and the Pressure Vessel Code.
Declaration of conformity meeting the basic safety requirements of the Solid Content Regulations
This is manufactured in accordance with ASME requirements as well as domestic regulations; both sets of standards must be met. If the equipment is to be used domestically, this is not necessary. Of course, if you have no budget concerns, you can still go ahead and do it
There are two methods, and we have used them many times. One type is designed according to dual standards, namely ASME + GB; the other type is designed and manufactured according to ASME standards, and once it enters the free trade zone and comes out again, it is considered imported equipment. Just go through the corresponding procedures.
ASME-certified pressure vessels for export already possess the corresponding ASME certificates; are additional certification documents from domestic inspection agencies required?
