What is the difference between an organic heat carrier furnace and a regular heating furnace? Is it considered a heating furnace or a boiler? Is registration required?
An organic heat carrier furnace is a heat transfer oil furnace, a type of specialized boiler that uses a heat-conducting fluid as the heating medium. It features low-pressure and high-temperature operating conditions. With the development of industrial production and advancements in science and technology, organic heat carrier furnaces have seen continuous development and application. Although the operating pressure of organic heat carrier boilers is relatively low, the temperature of the heat transfer fluid inside the boiler is high, and such fluids are often flammable and explosive. In the event of a leak during operation, it can lead to fires, explosions, and even cause casualties and property damage. Therefore, great emphasis must be placed on the safe operation and management of organic heat carrier boilers. Due to its advanced explosion-proof design, the electrically heated organic heat carrier furnace can be used in Zone II of factories, with an explosion-proof rating of up to Class C. Organic heat carrier furnaces operate at relatively low pressures, with high temperatures of the medium inside them; most of these media are flammable and explosive, and some are even toxic. In the event of a leak during operation, it can lead to fires and explosions, resulting in casualties.
