What is the difference between bolts made of 35CrMo and 35CrMoA? How to choose?
35CrMoA and 35CrMo are the same material; the difference is that 35CrMoA has a higher grade, with stricter requirements regarding the impurity content in the steel. Steel with sulfur and phosphorus contents below 0.025% is considered high-quality steel, and in such cases the letter “High” or “A” is added after the steel grade, as in 35CrMoA.
