Hello, esteemed seniors. I would like to ask some questions regarding the desulfurization process. The gas source is flue gas; after compression, it is detected that the sulfur content in the gas is above the permissible level, so desulfurization equipment is required. The pressure of the compressed gas is 22 bar, and the temperature is 30–45°C. Under such conditions, what type of packing is generally used in desulfurization equipment? Which one is better? What method is used for regeneration?
I remember that in water treatment processes, molecular sieves can be used for removal; once saturated, these molecular sieves can be regenerated and reused, thereby saving costs. Is there a similar process for desulfurization? Can activated carbon meet the requirements for desulfurization?
