The jacket contains frozen saline at a pressure of around 3 kilograms, so it shouldn’t be that fragile. . .
Ethylene glycol solutions are also corrosive (if so)
The temperature difference isn’t that large; it’s usually around -9 to 3
Is the inside of the pot made of enamel? Is the inside of the jacket made of carbon steel? Chloride ions in high-concentration saline can cause corrosion to the jacket. The salt water tanks used in my workshop are all lined with PTFE.
The image posted by the original poster isn’t very clear; what is the relationship between the enamel and the cryogenic brine inside the jacket?
