Issues regarding the inspection of waste heat boilers in plant processes

New safety regulations: Waste heat boilers that are designed as pressure vessels for process equipment can be inspected in accordance with the new regulations; however, inspection agencies in some areas do not apply these regulations uniformly. Clearly, it is relatively easier to conduct inspections on such vessels under the pressure vessel regulations rather than under those for boilers. I’m not sure what the requirements are in various places; also, what exactly are the waste heat boilers referred to in this process? I would appreciate your guidance. Thank you.
