I would like to ask everyone how to cut the sections of the partition. The diameter of the tube box is 1000X10, and the distance from the tube flange to the outside of the head is 735; this value should be less than the diameter of the tube box, which is 997. The length should be greater than the sealing surface of the tube flange, and all these parts will be processed together after heat treatment.
Yes, a margin of about 10 mm should be left on the sealing surface for machining after heat treatment.
How much should the edge of that tube box be reduced? 1000 for diameter – is 997 okay?

997 is fine; what about the length? Around 740, I guess. . If it’s a bit longer, it can be trimmed off during assembly.
997, I guess you still can’t fit it in.
This is the theory; ultimately, actual trimming is carried out based on the inner diameter of the head of the formed cylinder to ensure smooth installation and welding.
