What is the diameter of the device? Are welds inevitable?
Both integral molding and assembled molding are feasible for the hydrogenation reactor; after integral molding, heat treatment is required to meet the mechanical properties. After heat treatment for spliced head forming, the material needs to be replaced to meet the mechanical properties of the plate and welds. It is generally difficult for end caps to meet mechanical property requirements without heat treatment after being pressed into shape.
The head of a hydrogenation reactor can be formed as a single piece, or it can be manufactured in segments and then welded together. As for the molding method to be used, it is mainly determined by factors such as the diameter and thickness of the head. If the diameter is 6m or less and the plate thickness is less than 450mm, it is possible to assemble the plates first and then perform overall stamping after heating ; If the diameter is 10m or less and the plate thickness is 50mm or less, it is possible to assemble the panels first and then form them through overall spinning ; If, in addition to the above dimensions, it can be pressed in segments and then welded together.
