Can GB8163 pipes be used for steam cylinder shells?
Seamless steel pipes designed for fluid transport can be used without issue as connection fittings for equipment outlets. I am generally used as a heat exchanger shell; standard elliptical end caps available for use when the outer diameter is 426 or less. I think when used as a cylinder divider, it functions like a fitting on a pipe that connects pipes of different diameters, and also serves as a buffer container; there should be no problem with that, and it can be managed according to container design standards.
GB8163 steel pipes can be used to make the steam distribution cylinder housing; generally, grade 20 of 8163 is used

We have always used it this way; when replacing the pipe, the experts said that 8163 can only be used for taking over connections and not for the cylinder itself, so we were asked to use 9948 pipes instead.
Actually, this falls under the category of understanding equipment: when a cylinder is considered to be an auxiliary structure for pipelines, then 8163 is used; but when it is regarded as a container-type device, 9948 should be used. I think the standards make this quite clear – standard 8163 applies to applications involving fluid transport, so I believe standard 9948 should be chosen
No similar provisions were found in the Code for Fixed Pressure Vessels or GB150?
6th floor is correct. Since the S and P contents of 8163 tubing do not meet the requirements specified in the code for fixed containers, 8163 tubing cannot be used for the partition cylinders if they are to be constructed as pressure vessels.
Experts say it is a fluid transfer pipe; it cannot be used in steam cylinders, only in connections. I see that 150 isn’t mentioned by any experts, but there’s no opposition either; if there were opposition, one would have to look for faults everywhere.
