I am currently dealing with a device operating under a pressure of 9.15 MPa, and it is necessary to install a differential pressure gauge interface. Have you come across any differential pressure gauge interfaces that use a threaded connection design? What kind of connection structure is generally used for differential pressure gauge interfaces? I would appreciate guidance from experienced sailors out there. Thank you
There should be no problem; we have also used pressure gauges and pressure transducers with threaded connections on 10 MPa equipment
For pressure tapping points on pipelines, welding is preferred in front of the primary valve; The pressure tapping ports on the equipment are generally connected using flanges.
Generally, when the pressure of the equipment in use is not high, gauge connectors are usually chosen. Mainly, the pressure on the equipment is a bit high this time; I personally think that flange connections would be the better option.

If you are concerned, flange connection can be used.
I took a look and saw that there is a component with a working pressure of 12 MPA, using M20x1.5 threads. The structure is quite simple: one end of the pipe is welded to the equipment, while the other end has M threads for connecting to the control valve (the medium is natural gas, so a needle valve is used), and then there’s the pressure gauge
I’ve used both; you can decide for yourself (flanged ones are definitely better)
Generally, NPT threads are used; according to HG/T20592, threaded flanges can reach up to PN40, and threaded connections are not recommended for such high pressures.
You’re right; our company has always used M20 threads, but the design firm we work with uses NPT threads. The image above me (the flanged control valve) uses 1/2 NPT threads. If M threads are used, choosing the appropriate gasket becomes a hassle
