I would like to ask the experts: for vacuum-powder insulated carbon dioxide storage tanks, what is the required vacuum level when they are filled with the medium? GB18442 requires that the vacuum level during sealing be less than or equal to 2 pascals (for volumes smaller than 10). Clause 6.4.5 states that, after a low-temperature liquid is poured into a vacuum powder low-temperature insulated container over time, the pressure in the vacuum layer should not exceed 0.5 pascals. What does this mean? Does it mean that the vacuum level should not be higher than 0.5 pascals? Is it still 0.5 Pa gauge pressure? Table 6 of the regular inspection regulation for pressure vessels, TSG R7001, requires that the vacuum level be ≤10 Pascals when the vessel is filled with a medium. Which standard value should be used to determine whether in-service containers are qualified
GB/T18442 applies to cryogenic vessels; liquid carbon dioxide storage tanks do not fall under the category of cryogenic vessels and therefore do not need to meet the requirements of GB/T18442.
So which limit value should be chosen for the vacuum level? 10 Pascals?
According to the specifications, 10 or less is sufficient.

The limits specified in the inspection regulations are determined from the perspective of the safety of pressure vessels, right? Is the insulation performance of the vessels also ensured by these standards? I need to create procedures for regular inspections; limits are necessary

You can be slightly stricter than the specifications; currently, only cryogenic containers have specific requirements, while no specific regulatory requirements exist for carbon dioxide storage tanks.
