Do pressure vessel manufacturers that already possess the design and manufacturing certifications for A1 and A2 cryogenic pressure vessels need to obtain additional certifications? Our company wants to manufacture cryogenic pressure vessels – what are the prospects? How is the inner liner of a horizontal cryogenic pressure vessel supported? Does any fellow sea traveler know? Could you provide some information on this? Thank you!
Pressure vessel design is independent of whether it is a cryogenic vessel or not.
Design certainly doesn’t require proof. However, no matter what the volume is, a unit must be manufactured. **Only after relevant agencies appointed by the General Administration of Quality Supervision issue a certificate of conformity following inspections will a license for manufacturing cryogenic containers be granted to you; this falls under the category of additional services.
