GB 150.3 (P137) 5.9 for flat covers provides schematic diagrams of different structural forms of such covers, as well as the structural characteristic coefficient K used to calculate the thickness of the flat covers. Appendix D of GB 150.3 (P300) describes the connection between flat end caps and compressed elements; as shown in the figure below, how should the structural characteristic coefficient K be determined for flat covers with this type of connection? Table 5-9, which lists the values of coefficient K for flat covers, does not contain a schematic diagram corresponding to this structure. Could someone please explain how to handle this situation?
