According to NB/T47015, the minimum holding temperature for post-weld heat treatment of Fe-1 class materials is 600°C, while for Fe-4 class materials it is 650°C. What should be done if Fe-1 class equipment is heat-treated in the same furnace as Fe-4 class materials? I hope those with relevant experience can respond; it would be best if there is standard or literature support. Thank you!
This post was last edited by 15837357920 on 2019-1-6 at 16:03. According to standard NB/T47015:4.6.3.4, it should be set at a higher value, but not higher than the AC1 value of any of the materials. The standard specifies the minimum temperature: naturally, a higher value is chosen to ensure that all requirements are met.
I agree that the standard specified in 2# sets a minimum value for the heat treatment temperature; as long as it is not higher than the Ac1 line, it is sufficient to choose a temperature limit that includes both values
These are two categories of materials; post-weld heat treatment cannot be carried out in the same furnace. Even for materials of the same type, when undergoing heat treatment in the same furnace, it is necessary to ensure that the heat treatment process is suitable for both products.

The recommended minimum insulation temperature varies for the two devices; although 650 degrees can be used for Fe-1, the corresponding insulation time should be shorter compared to when 600 degrees is used. Unless the two devices have the same heat treatment process, heat treatment in the same furnace is not recommended. After all, heat treatment is a very important process that cannot be taken lightly. The heat treatment specifications also address the issue of whether process qualification can cover it.
