When defining pressure vessels, the maximum operating pressure is mentioned. What does this maximum operating pressure mean? For example, in a constant-pressure tower, 5 kilograms of steam are used in the reboiler; if there is a leak in the reboiler and the gas outlet becomes blocked, the gas pressure will be higher than 1 kilogram. Abnormal operating conditions are not taken into account.
If steam leaks, there will also be the issue of phase-change condensation, and the possibility of overpressure will be much lower: lol
The maximum operating pressure refers to the pressure under normal operating conditions of the container! Ignore abnormal cases; otherwise it would be too complicated and wasteful! Abnormal situations should be resolved through other means!
