Dear students: I would like to ask for advice – when manufacturing nameplates for pressure vessels, is it necessary to include the statement \"A photocopy or imprint of the nameplate shall be kept in the product quality certification documents for the pressure vessel\" on the actual nameplate itself?
From a compliance perspective, this text should be included on the plaque. But as long as the impression was indeed retained and that string of characters was not on the plaque, our units were also able to leave the factory successfully. Since it’s already been noticed, add it to avoid any trouble.
Initially, it was done by making impressions, but these days people usually take photos and then print them out.
It is best to meet the specification requirements...
Since there are regulations, they should be stated concisely. This is the best.

I think the nameplate for our unit can be designed by referring to the nameplate format specified in Appendix C of TSG21-2016; the format may vary, and additional information can be included, but nothing should be removed. In other words, this sentence is essential.
A photocopy or imprint of the nameplate of our company is to be included in the quality certification documents for pressure vessel products. This equipment must be registered with the local authority responsible for the registration of special equipment, and a registration certificate number must be issued before it can be put into use
