In the past, when designing, the drawings would generally list the \"electrode grade\", or sometimes the electrode type (which is mostly used for duplex steel or high-strength steel, etc.). However, since the implementation of NB/T 47018-2017, the drawings should specify the \"electrode type\". A comparison can be made using the following two screenshots: In the NB/T 47018-2011 version, there are two columns – weld rod model and weld rod grade – but in NB/T 47018-2017, there is only one column, namely the weld rod model. This is just my personal opinion; it is not officially verified.
