Regarding shaft-type lugs

When manufacturing stainless steel equipment, if shaft-type lugs are used, the gasket plates are made of the same material as the casing; what material should then be used for the shafts of these lugs?
It doesn’t specify how to choose the tube shaft based on the device’s theme and material; it only says that the gasket should be the same as that of the housing. What about the tube shaft?
Carbon steel is generally used, but other materials with comparable or better properties can also be chosen...
Lugs made of stainless steel material should be considered.
Carbon steel can be used; it will not affect the corrosion resistance of stainless steel
Carbon steel can be selected based on the principle of cost-effectiveness.
