For the renovation project of the existing residential boiler room, three vacuum boilers are being used for heating, with each boiler having a heating capacity of 1860 kW. The boiler room is located on the second basement floor (at around -8 meters depth). The horizontal section of the chimney inside the boiler room is approximately 22 meters long, and there are 7 elbows in this section. If environmental regulations are not taken into consideration, and only the technical aspects are considered (the boilers operate under slightly positive pressure, without an exhaust fan; the current diameter of the chimney is 750 mm, and as long as the flue gases can be discharged without affecting the boilers’ efficiency), I would like to ask experts: how tall should my chimney be? (The vertical pipe inside the basement for the boiler chimney is about 5 meters long, and then it extends above ground level to the zero level.) ? Seeking advice from experts! ! Thank you, thank you~

There is no inherent connection between smoke emission and the height above the ground.
Since my boiler operates at a slight positive pressure, the smoke needs to be expelled through the suction force of the chimney. If the chimney is too low, won’t there be too much resistance and the smoke won’t be able to escape? So I wonder, what is the minimum height it can reach before it can be discharged?
There’s a chimney effect; you can look into it. If in doubt, add a fan.
