What determines the bending test category for product welding test plates?

So, what determines which specific bending test to carry out? I would appreciate your advice. Are there any relevant requirements in standards or specifications?
It’s simply to evaluate the bending properties in various directions.

I’ve learned it now; before I was also confused.
Check the thickness. Once the thickness exceeds a certain value, lateral bending can be used in place of dorsal and facial bending.
