What kind of boilers need desulfurization and denitrification these days? I heard that boilers that use gas as fuel already meet the emission standards at the time of installation after leaving the factory; so are only coal-fired boilers still required to undergo desulfurization and denitrification?

It’s not the fuel itself that matters, but rather whether your emissions meet the specified standards. If you have the technology to burn coal without using special equipment while still keeping emissions within limits, then no one will bother you~
