The main structure of our company’s 50,000 cubic meter crude oil tank has been completed, but the design firm did not provide a design for the heating coils. I have a few questions I would like to ask everyone: 1. Does the heating coil fall under pressure pipelines or pressure vessels? 2. Is it feasible to use seamless steel pipes when the heating medium is low-pressure steam? 3. Is overall heat treatment required after the construction of the heating coil is completed? The design temperature for the crude oil tank is 80 degrees.

It is recommended that the design institute carry out the design in accordance with relevant standards. When designing, the properties of crude oil must also be taken into account; the heating coil cannot be designed as an ordinary steam pipeline
