The medium used in the equipment is a highly hazardous one; the design pressure is 0.6 MPa, and the inner cylinder needs to be sprayed. For equipment that features an inner cylinder and a jacket, should the equipment flanges be of the butt-welded type RF or the face-welded type FMF? Are there any other flange types that can be used?
The more economical it is, the better, as long as the pressure rating meets the usage requirements.
Since the medium is highly hazardous, it is advisable to use butt-welded flanges for the equipment flanges.
Flanges, gaskets, and fasteners constitute the sealing system, and they have little to do with the type of sealing surface. High-hazard or highly hazardous medium? For high-hazard applications, it is recommended to use necked butt-weld flanges, along with wound gaskets and high-strength studs; either the PF face or FMF face can be used.
