This way, the situation you mentioned will not occur. In your case, you can weld an extra layer when welding the flange to the pipe fitting.
The counter-flange provided by the equipment manufacturer has the same outer diameter as my pipe, but its wall thickness is 13 mm thicker. Is it okay to weld an additional layer during welding?
The outer diameter is the same; if the wall thickness is greater, it means there is a difference in the inner diameter. Is that acceptable?
