Question for the expert: Our factory uses steam at a pressure of 1.0 MPa, with a required evaporation capacity of 15 t/h. Can we choose a gas boiler with a rated operating pressure of 1.25 MPa?

It depends on the distance from the boiler to the user, as well as the number of bends, etc. If there is excessive pipe loss, the steam pressure at the user’s end might be below 1.0 MPa; 1.6 MPa is of course a safer option
If it’s high enough, a temperature and pressure reducer can be installed; though it doesn’t need to be that high
1.0 refers to the pressure required by the process, right? In that case, the pressure loss during pipeline transportation must be taken into account; if the calculated value is quite close to 1.0, it’s safer to choose 1.6 instead.
