Must the spacing between adjacent bolts (or anchor bolts) of ear-type or ring-type supports comply with the values specified in the steel structure codes? The diameter of the bolt distribution circle is 4.7 meters; calculations show that 16 M24 bolts are sufficient ; I think it’s sufficient to meet the requirements for stress calculation. The civil engineering team said that a spacing of 16 bolts is too large and does not meet the specifications in the table; I suggested that 24 bolts would work as well. After drawing the layout, I found that with 24 bolts, the minimum spacing between adjacent rebar plates is only 191, with a depth of 350–450. Such a small spacing may not provide enough space for welding the rebar plates. This diagram shows the layout with 24 bolts; it seems unnecessary to use this many bolts. Later, I designed a layout with 20 bolts – having more bolts isn’t harmful from a stress perspective. I’d like to hear everyone’s opinions on this issue.

Does this standard table refer to the steel structure itself or the supporting equipment? It can be applied if it is a supporting device; otherwise, the structure itself is not suitable ; Does having too many openings have no impact on the structural stress? There are so many people who study mechanically; trusting books completely is not as good as having no books at all
