For truck cranes of the same tonnage, the rated lifting capacity varies greatly depending on the manufacturer, the model (whether the crane’s performance has been upgraded), whether counterweights are used and how many, and whether an auxiliary arm is present. As a result, it becomes very complicated to determine the required crane tonnage for cost calculation – must one compare the performance specifications of all these different scenarios one by one? And after making comparisons, it might turn out that there is no cheapest crane rental company available – so what to do? How can this account not be calculated in detail? Should I just estimate it roughly?

I once encountered someone who was extremely stingy when it came to calculating the cost per work shift; the crane with the required lifting capacity was supposed to be used, and it was said that an 80-ton crane was needed (I’ve never seen such a model before). Yet a 160-ton crane was sent instead, and the cost per work shift was calculated based on an 80-ton crane. I also need 300 tons, but they’re unable to supply that amount; it’s more convenient to get 400 tons instead, and the cost per unit of work is roughly the same as for 300 tons.
First, it depends on whether you are the client or the service provider. If you are the client, payment is made according to the requirements, unless otherwise agreed in advance. If you are the service provider, then costs need to be calculated, and an upper limit should be estimated based on your existing equipment~
