An open-loop cycle refers to the product returning directly to the raw material tank, where it settles before being fed back into the system. The advantage of this approach is that it allows certain impurities to be carried directly into the raw material tank during the initial startup; generally, an open-loop cycle is used when restarting the tank. The closed-loop cycle involves the direct return of the device’s output to the raw material buffer tank, allowing for temporary operations during the processing of raw materials as well as for cyclic replacement when the system is shut down.
