Must storage tanks with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters or less (including 1,000 cubic meters) that store benzene use steel floating roofs, in accordance with clause 4.2.9 b) of SHT 3007-2014 \"Design Code for Tank Areas in Petrochemical Storage and Transportation Systems\"? This clause states that \"for internal floating roof tanks used to store liquids of toxicity levels I or II, as well as internal floating roof tanks for Class A and B liquids with a diameter greater than 40 meters, floating roofs made of fusible materials shall not be used.\" If I don’t want to use it, how can I solve this? Thank you!
Aluminum alloy floating disks are made of a fusible material; stainless steel floating disks can also be used. A floating disk with a capacity of 1000 liters in the buoy type will suffice. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. 13132161123

The internal floating roof storage tanks we designed for storing benzene originally used aluminum floating decks, but they were later all replaced with stainless steel ones
Why? Even our benzene intermediate storage tanks (with a capacity of less than 200 cubic meters) are equipped with aluminum floating disks
