I just bought a titanium-lined reactor; experts, what do you think of its quality?
It was my first time seeing a titanium-lined reactor; it was really enlightening. Thank you, OP:lol:lol:lol. It is said that titanium has poor weldability, so the inspection of welds needs to be strengthened; P;P;P;P
It’s my first time seeing this too; the red and brown colors here are too rough, and those two welds – are they meant to be funny?
This titanium-lined reactor is pretty good; the welding of the pressure plates also looks proper. However, no water leakage test was conducted, and relying solely on PT testing isn’t very reliable
The red and white ones are used for penetrant testing
How thick should the lining be? What are the pressure and temperature of the equipment?

You lack experience with titanium equipment; the welds must not be polished in any way, and coloring should not be done either. Before acceptance, the surface must be white or yellow – only if it meets these criteria can coloring be carried out. As for water pressure, just because the product arrives at the factory with no issues regarding welding quality, coloring, or water pressure doesn’t mean that the welding itself is perfect. Even RT testing isn’t useful for single-layer materials. Titanium is a rather special material. Our company specializes in titanium and nickel equipment; we’d be happy to discuss this further if you have time
Don’t focus on the surface quality; penetrant testing is carried out inside the equipment, using white developer and red penetrant. If it’s not cleaned properly, just take a look – that tells you how poor the quality of the equipment will be. Cleaning off the red and white residues is a basic requirement for any equipment manufacturer.
The ignorant are innocent; if you don’t understand, ask more questions – don’t joke around
Made of titanium with silver brazing, featuring structures such as strips and covers. Check the design drawings specifically. First spray the red penetrant, then the white developer. Generally, the inner surface is treated, and those with agitators undergo static balance adjustment.
Titanium composite plate? The cover plates, pipe ends, and gaskets for welds A and B are all properly designed, with the welding structure being constructed in a standard manner. :Lol, I actually designed it in this way too, but the workshop was too lazy to do it and removed all the pipe end gaskets
