How to choose between HG/T20623 A series and B series?

I made a comparison and found that for flanges with the same pressure level and specifications, the A series is twice as heavy as the B series. What is the basis for this?
Judging from the number of bolt holes, the A series bolts have a large diameter and a small number, which seems to be more suitable for pipes.
