For static equipment in this pressure range, how is the allowable stress value for materials generally determined? Use the values for atmospheric pressure vessels? I wonder how various industries approach regulations in this area? At present, there are no specific regulations regarding the allowable stress in the smoke and air ducts of power systems. Some standards mention that the allowable stress can be appropriately increased in cases where the pressure is very low, the medium is non-toxic and harmless, not flammable or explosive, and lacks corrosive properties; however, they do not specify exactly how this should be determined.
Standard GB150 is also applied to pressure vessels at normal pressure; therefore, the allowable stress for the materials can be selected with reference to GB150.2. (Unless otherwise specified)
-A vacuum level of 0.05 MPa falls within the scope applicable to GB150; 0.05 MPa falls under the category of atmospheric-pressure vessels as specified in NB/T47003.1, and the allowable stress is determined in accordance with this standard.
