Dear teachers: Excuse me: What is the function of the secondary line of the process water outlet valve of the plate heat exchanger?
Is it to facilitate the opening and closing of large valves and reduce the pressure before and after the valve plate?

This is a double-plate replacement. I have an idea. If this plate replacement is put into use after maintenance, should the process water at the outlet of the other plate replacement be used before it is put into use?
The main line 16-inch bypass DN20 should balance the pressure when the valve is opened.
