Is there any danger from increasing temperature and pressure in stainless steel tanks that are 10 years old or older? Ours is a bit rusty.

All pressure vessels have a service life, and those in use must undergo regular inspections (conducted by specialized equipment inspection agencies to assess the safety status of such vessels). The safety grade of a pressure vessel is determined based on these regular inspections. The cycle for the next inspection is determined based on the safety status level.
It will be determined based on the inspection results! Just like a car, if it needs to be scrapped, then it should be scrapped!
Based on the standards for pressure vessels and the allowable stress limits for conventional materials, your reactor has likely reached the end of its service life – it needs to be replaced! Some devices aren’t meant to be viewed with your eyes! My humble opinion! Thank you!

Special inspections are carried out in accordance with the capacity regulations; use is permitted based on the rating, and extended use is allowed.
Looking at the design documents, they all specify a design service life; once that period has elapsed, it is necessary to commission a specialized inspection agency to conduct an inspection and then go to the registration authority to update the records.
