Can pipe flanges and vessel flanges be used interchangeably? ? ? ?
No, the structures are different. One is referenced by the inner diameter, and the other by the outer diameter.
No! No container flange valve! The force is different on the left and right sides!
Container flanges and pipeline flanges adhere to different standards, with container flanges being more commonly used in heat exchangers.
Are the mating flanges of the container container flanges or pipe flanges?
Container flanges must be paired with other container flanges!

The flanges for containers NB 47020~47027 are based on the WATERS method specified in Chapter 7 of GB150.3; whereas HG pipe flanges, according to the instructions for flange design in version 97, are not based on the WATERS method – see the screenshot below. Therefore, it can be considered that HG pipe flanges and NB vessel flanges are not based on the same theoretical principles; they cannot be used together when pairing, and moreover their sealing dimensions and fastener sizes are also incompatible.
A container flange and a pipe flange cannot be connected, but it is normal for a single device to have both a container flange and a pipe flange. It is also possible for one end of a pipeline to have a container flange while the other end has a pipe flange.
