I’m currently working on my graduation project, and I have a question: 1. How should the fixed loads in Appendix F of GB50341, which deals with load combinations, be calculated?; 2. How should the design external vacuum pressure Pe be calculated? Is there any relationship between it and the design pressure of 2000/-500 Pa? ; 3. According to the specifications, the value for live load should not be less than 1 KPa; generally speaking, what should this value be set at? ; 4. Are there any specifications regarding the selection and placement of reinforcement ribs in ribbed spherical shells? Thank you
1. How should the fixed loads in the load combinations of Appendix F of GB50341 be calculated?; There are symbol explanations in the appendix. Fixed load: the weight of the tank top plate, the weight of the insulation material, and the weight of accessories (manholes, embedded plates, ladder platforms, etc.). 2. How should the design external vacuum pressure Pe be calculated? Is there any relationship between it and the design pressure of 2000/-500 Pa? ; Pe is the negative pressure specified in your process commissioning conditions. According to your calculation, it would be -0.5 kPa. 3. According to the standards, the value for live load should not be less than 1 kPa; generally speaking, what should this value be set at? ; 1.2 kPa can be used. 4. Are there any specifications regarding the selection and placement of the reinforcing ribs on ribbed spherical shells? Appendix H provides details on this. Or you can download the \"Vault Tank Atlas 02R112\" to take a look.
