Can the tank wall thickness be made to 6mm? I remember that the wall thickness of our normal pressure storage tanks used to be at least 10mm.
Look for relevant industry standards for reference.
This post was last edited by wanlirn on 2019-5-5 11:23. Our unit stipulates that the minimum standard for carbon steel under normal pressure is 5mm and that for stainless steel is 4mm. Our production unit is too thin and light in weight. It’s too boring to pay for labor and materials.
Determine according to the size of the tank. Normal pressure small tanks are allowed to be 6mm
The 500-meter model can be 6mm wide, no problem.
Article 6 of NB/T47003.1-2009 "Steel Welded Atmospheric Pressure Vessels" stipulates that the shell thickness must be calculated to confirm whether it meets the requirements.
