Does it only refer to fire extinguishers, or does it generally refer to gas cylinders for fire protection, such as carbon dioxide cylinders in carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems, or nitrogen cylinders in foam fire extinguishing systems? Generally refers to gas cylinders used for fire protection, because the medium of such gas cylinders is generally non-flammable gas or inert gas, and the frequency of use is very low (only used when a fire occurs), so it only needs to meet the design, material, and manufacturing requirements.

According to GB, in GB T 5907.5-2015 "Firefighting Vocabulary Part 5 Fire Fighting Products", the definition of fire extinguisher is as follows: If we look at this standard, then only commonly-known fire extinguishers are exempt from supervisory inspection, and all other gas cylinders in fire extinguishing systems are required to undergo supervisory inspection. ； But this encounters another problem. Whether it is GBT 13075-2016 "Periodic Inspection and Assessment of Steel Welded Gas Cylinders" or GB T 13004-2016 "Periodic Inspection and Assessment of Steel Seamless Gas Cylinders", the scope of application does not include fire-extinguishing gas cylinders.
