How to design the cone-top structure? Is the structure designed as shown in Figure 1 easy to process and manufacture? You can leave a hole and then use a round flat plate to overlap and weld it.
Why do we need to leave a hole? Is it because the center of the cone top is difficult to process?
What the poster means is that after the cone top is unloaded and assembled, if there is a connecting tube at the cone tip, a hole can be reserved to facilitate the unloading and unfolding. Now that the nozzle is gone, the tip of the cone needs to be sealed.
Yes, what I mean is that if the cone top is pointed, will it be easier to process? Is it necessary to leave a hole when blanking and then fill the tip after molding?
I feel that the small diameter is easier to process. Large diameter ones are inconvenient. You can leave a round hole like a vault. Then take a slightly curved circular plate and fasten it.
