Do liquid oxygen cylinders need to be inspected regularly, and which organizations are responsible for such inspections?
Is it a welded insulated gas cylinder? If so, it requires an inspection every three years. There aren’t many inspection agencies available; it depends on whether there are any local ones or specialized inspection institutes
Is it a Dewar flask? Generally, it requires to be inspected by an inspection agency with PD5 qualifications. Regular inspections of gas cylinders are mostly carried out by the entities that own them; special inspection agencies generally do not apply for qualifications to inspect gas cylinders.
