When evaluating heat exchangers, is it true that the narrower the pore bridge width of the test specimen, the better? I need experts to provide an explanation – urgently!
Follow the standards on 151. According to experts, if you don’t understand the research, don’t try to make modifications.
Just calculate according to GB/T151; do not make any changes on your own. Otherwise, if there are problems, it will be quite troublesome.
The smaller it is, the better – does this refer to the heat exchange efficiency, cost-effectiveness, or something else? It’s not enough; regardless of the considerations, it’s best to go with 151, otherwise there will be too many problems.
Your claim doesn’t hold up. It has to be done in accordance with standards and requirements; how can it be done arbitrarily? After all, it is a test specimen for pressure vessels.
There are standards for this, and it cannot be changed arbitrarily. Moreover, welding is used to check the quality of welds; in the case of strength expansion joining, if the width of the hole bridge is too small, it’s useless!
Nothing is absolute; the smaller the scale, the worse the consequences, but it’s not enough to just stop fighting – otherwise why design anything at all?
