Everyone, how is deformation controlled in fully penetrated weld structures? Determination of the deformation range for deformation amount? I would appreciate some guidance from an expert.
Factors such as welding wire energy control, selection of welding methods, counter-deformation measures, and forced cooling measures – along with variations in welding methods, groove shapes, materials, and thicknesses – result in different degrees of deformation, making it difficult to provide specific formulas.
